Who we are

Mulopwe AI Consulting ("Mulopwe," "we," "us," "our") is operated by Kadi Enzo Ilunga, a sole proprietorship registered in Ontario, Canada, based in the Ottawa–Gatineau region. Enzo Ilunga is Mulopwe's Privacy Officer. If you have any question about this policy or about information we hold, contact privacy@mulopweai.com. We aim to acknowledge every privacy request within two business days.

What this policy covers — and what it doesn't

This policy explains how Mulopwe collects, uses, and protects personal information when you visit this website, contact us, book a call, request a Local Visibility Score, apply for a role with us, or become a client.

This policy does not cover how a Mulopwe client handles the personal information of their own customers. When Mulopwe builds or manages a system for a client — a booking form, a chatbot, an automated follow-up — that client decides what their own customers' information is used for, and that client's own privacy notice governs it. Mulopwe acts as a processor in that relationship, bound by the service agreement and data-handling terms agreed with that client, not by this public policy.

Information we collect

We collect information you provide directly, such as: your name, email address, phone number, business name, and the details you share on a contact form, a discovery-call booking, a Local Visibility Score request, or in email and call correspondence with us. If you apply for a role with Mulopwe, we collect what you submit as part of that application.

We also collect limited technical information automatically when you visit the site, such as pages viewed and general usage patterns, through essential and analytics tools described in the Cookies section below.

We do not ask for, and you should never send us, full payment card numbers, government identification numbers, or passwords through this website, a contact form, or ordinary email.

How we use your information

We use the information we collect to: respond to your inquiry, book and prepare for a discovery call, prepare a proposal or Local Visibility Score, deliver and manage services under a signed agreement, process payments through our payment processor, communicate with you about your account or project, meet our legal and accounting obligations, and improve this website.

We send marketing or promotional email only with your consent, or another basis Canadian law permits, and every such message includes a working way to unsubscribe, which we honour promptly. Service communications — like a proposal you requested, or an update about a project already underway — are not marketing and do not require separate consent.

Artificial intelligence and how we use it

Mulopwe uses AI tools, including Claude by Anthropic, to help draft content, support internal operations, and assist with research. Where you interact with an AI-assisted chat or booking experience on this site, that experience will not be presented as a specific named person, and you will always have a clear way to reach a real person instead.

We do not put sensitive personal information — health details, financial hardship, government identifiers, or similarly sensitive categories — into AI tools that are not specifically approved and configured for that purpose. No decision that meaningfully affects you (such as rejecting a request or evaluating a job application) is made by an automated system alone; a person is always involved.

Who we share information with

We share information with service providers who help us run Mulopwe, including our payment processor (Stripe), our website and hosting platform (Lovable), our business productivity and email tools (Google Workspace), our scheduling tool (Calendly), and, where applicable, our automation and customer-relationship tools (Zapier, HubSpot). These providers process information on our behalf and are not permitted to use it for their own purposes.

Some of these providers may process or store information outside Canada. We do not promise Canadian-only data storage unless we have specifically confirmed it with you in writing for a particular engagement. We review our providers' privacy and security practices before relying on them.

We do not sell personal information, and we do not share it with unrelated third parties for their own marketing purposes.

Cookies and analytics

This site currently uses only essential cookies required for the site to function, and privacy-conscious analytics that do not track you across other websites. We do not currently run advertising trackers such as a Meta Pixel. If that changes — for example, when we begin measured advertising — we will update this policy first and add a clear cookie-consent option before any non-essential tracking is active.

How long we keep information

We keep personal information only as long as needed for the purpose it was collected for, or as long as we are required to by law — for example, contract and financial records are generally kept for the periods required for tax and accounting purposes. When information is no longer needed, we take reasonable steps to delete or de-identify it.

Your rights

You may ask us to access the personal information we hold about you, correct it, delete it, withdraw consent you previously gave, or explain how we've used it. Email privacy@mulopweai.com and we will acknowledge your request within two business days and respond within the timeframe Canadian privacy law requires. To protect your information, we may ask you to confirm your identity using information we already hold about you — we will never ask you to send new government identification to verify a request.

If your request concerns information a Mulopwe client holds about you as their customer, we will direct you to that business, since they — not Mulopwe — control that information.

Security

We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect personal information, including access controls, encryption where appropriate, and limiting who on our team can see what. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

Children's privacy

This website is not directed at children, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. The "Last updated" date at the top will always reflect the most recent version. Material changes will be noted on this page.
